Date Extended to Apply in B.F.Sc., B. Tech. (Biotech) & B. Tech. (Dairy Tech) at GADVASU

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) has extended the date for applying in degree programs in B.F.Sc., B. Tech. (Biotechnology) and B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) to 01.07.2019 without late fee and 08.07.2019 with late fee. The candidates can apply for admission to these programs by both options i.e. online (www.gadvasu.in) and offline (on paper application). The University has introduced few major reforms in the process for admission to these undergraduate programs. Major focus has been to simplify admission to the undergraduate programmes i.e. Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.), B. Tech. (Biotechnology) and B.Tech. (Dairy Technology). There is no Entrance Test for admission to these programs. The admissions will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 from any recognized Indian Board. Besides, number of seats in all these programs has also been increased. The eligibility criteria for admission to these programs have been revised and the candidates from Medical as well as from Non-Medical streams will be eligible to get admission in these programmes. With only a single application, a candidate will be eligible to contest for admission in these courses.

The University has reformed the admission and tuition fee for these courses.  

Dr. S. Prabhakar, the Registrar informed that all constituent institutes/ colleges of GADVASU and their degree programs have been accredited with the ICAR. These courses are highly prestigious with high job opportunities in the changing scenario of diversification. The University has opened seats for these courses to candidates from other states also.
