DAY 3: Pan-Asia Farmers' Exchange Program in the Philippines
Here's a sneak peek into some of the activities wherein experts spoke about the overview of the Plant Breeding and Biotechnology Division at the program which has participants from various corners of Asia. The prime aim behind this program is to share about the Philippines Rice Research Institute's national rice program, regarding which the participants were taken to the Rice Science Museum. “We got to learn a lot,” says MC Dominic, Founder, and Editor in Chief, Krishi Jagran and Agriculture World, who’s attending the program in the Philippines and got to interact with various other delegates from other Asian countries. A field trip to Future Rice Farm, a golden rice field, was also organized for all the participants.
