Farmers Conference by OFAI and AIONA at BIOFACH INDIA to be held from 28- 30 October

The 13th edition of BIOFACH INDIA will take place from 28-30 October, 2021 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. Organised by NürnbergMesse India in collaboration with APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), the event is expected to successfully bring leading Organic companies and Stakeholders together.

The 13th edition of BIOFACH INDIA will take place from 28-30 October 2021 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. Organized by NürnbergMesse India in collaboration with APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority), the event is expected to successfully bring leading Organic companies and Stakeholders together.

The Farmers Market set up by OFAI and the Farmers Conference by Organic Farming Association of India & the Farmers group of All India Organic Network Association (AIONA) is an engaging knowledge program.

Event Programme:

There are three sessions on three days starting from Oct 28-Oct 30 and the idea of the session is to place the concerns of the farmers at the center of the discussion and discuss the need of being Organic and the importance of having sustainable and green practices that helps farmers to be more efficient, competitive and profitable. The Inaugural Session happens on the first day from 11.30-12.30 am.

In the First Day Sessions, "Organic Climate-Resilience" would be the main topic discussed and the Resilience Strategies. Some thoughts need to be pondered on how our food systems need to be redesigned so that farms can avoid the impacts of climate change and how new Organic farmers can be created and retained over a period of time.

The Second Day Sessions would largely deal with the discussion of "Courageous sustainability initiatives in the Organic World" wherein we will discuss the impact of a pandemic on the Organic industry and will also deal with the Policy framework for the Organic Industry.

The Third Day Science Forum Sessions deals with offering a platform for dialogue among scientists, practitioners, and consultants. It is a must that Research projects must be adapted to practical conditions, research results must be communicated and discussed with the industry.

Advances in Plant Protection research and technologies and success stories on implementation of Organic farming technologies will also be discussed.
