On September 4, 2024, Krishi Jagran hosted the highly anticipated MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav in Odisha’s Balasore district. This event was held near the Sanakhudi Primary School and was a collaborative initiative with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Balasore, with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) as the knowledge partner. The Utsav, powered by Dhanuka Agritech and supported by JCB, brought together experts, innovators, and over 170 farmers to discuss the latest advancements in agricultural practices and technology.

Themed "Maximizing Farmers' Income for a Prosperous India," the Utsav served as a vital platform for connecting farmers with cutting-edge agricultural innovations. The event began with a warm registration process followed by a ceremonial lamp-lighting, setting the stage for a day filled with insightful discussions, networking, and knowledge-sharing.

The event featured discussions on critical topics such as Disease and Pest Management in Chilli Crops and the benefits of Farm Mechanization. The Utsav was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Dr. Swagatika Sahu (Senior Scientist & Head, KVK – Balasore), Dr. Amita Rani Patra (Scientist, Home Science), Dr. Kamalakanta Behera (Scientist, Agriculture Extension), Himanshu Patra from Dhanuka, and Mrutyunjay Patra from JCB. Their participation underscored the event’s importance and the collective effort to support the farming community.
