Farmers' income will increase through effective implementation of agricultural technologies: Union Minister Kailash Choudhary

Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Kailash Choudhary on Friday took information about various activities at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute New Delhi along with Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala.

During this period, the institute inspected and supervised various innovation and research works, including integrated farming systems, innovative research to achieve higher production, multi-crop crops, and controlled agriculture.

After this, in the Agricultural Auditorium, through a virtual medium, he discussed the empowerment of Krishi Vigyan Kendras by communicating with the directors of all ICAR institutes.

After the virtual dialogue, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary said that during the last six and a half years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have come close to self-sufficiency through various schemes and programs for the development of the agricultural sector in the country.

There has been a record increase in production and innovations in the agricultural sector in the last six and a half years.

Kailash Choudhary appreciated the work done by the institute and congratulated the institute for generating more revenue than the target. Also, urged the scientific community to work hard to generate more revenue. He stressed the need to double the income of the farmer through effective implementation of agricultural technologies developed by this institute.

At the same time, Union Minister Kailash Choudhary wished everyone a Happy New Year, by saying that this year bring happiness, prosperity and happiness in the lives of all of you.
