Farmers using LPG Alert: Cooking Gas Price Hiked by Rs 100; Check if you will get Subsidies or not

Amid the Intensifying farmer's protest, government-owned oil companies have again decided to increase the prices of LPG cylinders on Tuesday. The customers will now have to spend a little bit more money on cooking gas.
Moreover, oil companies change their policy from time to time keeping in mind the current scenario. Government oil companies have continued their policy of changing the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month.
LPG companies have hiked the price of LPG by Rs 50. This is the second increase in a fortnight. Moreover, the price of LPG cylinder has been hiked by Rs 100 within two weeks. Hence, it will affect common people's lives and especially those who stay in rural India.
As a result of the latest price hike, consumers in Delhi will now have to pay Rs 694 per cylinder (14.2 kg). Earlier, it was priced at Rs 644 per cylinder. In Hyderabad, a 14.2 kg gas cylinder now costs Rs 746.5.
As per the report, the price of 19 kg commercial gas will now cost Rs 36 more. The rate of this cylinder in the national capital Delhi is Rs 1332.
What Will Happen to LPG Subsidy?
Consumers using domestic LPG cylinders are most keen to know how much subsidy has been deposited in their account. Many customers also complain that the subsidy amount is not being deposited in their account or is going to another account. On the other hand, LPG companies amend their rules from time to time keeping in mind the current scenario.
More Indian households are allowed a maximum of 12 LPG cylinders per year at subsidized rates. Cylinders have to be bought at full price at the time of purchase, and the subsidy is credited to the customer's bank account by the government.
The government had removed cooking gas subsidies in September this year as oil prices were decreased and an increase in cooking gas prices brought parity in the market and subsidized prices.
No price change in petrol, diesel
As per reports, there was no change in the retail price of auto fuels on Thursday with the price of petrol remaining at Rs 83.71 a litre and diesel Rs 73.87 a litre in Delhi.
