The number on the Aadhar card is unique to each person and will last for a lifetime.

The Aadhar card has become an important way of identity verification throughout the country. The Aadhaar card's implication is the 12-digit number printed on the card. The number serves as proof of identity & address and is valid throughout India.

Anyone who is an Indian citizen, regardless of age or gender, and who meets the Unique Identification Authority of India's (UIDAI) verification requirements, can apply for Aadhaar. The number on the Aadhar card is unique to each person and will last for a lifetime.

Therefore, Aadhaar Card is required almost everywhere for any type of official task. Of course, carrying a hard copy of your Aadhaar Card is not always possible. However, because your phone is always with you, downloading a soft copy of your Aadhaar Card is the best way to save yourself from any crisis.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) makes this possible by providing new services to Aadhaar card holders. During the pandemic, UIDAI announced that cardholders could now download their Aadhaar cards online at any time and from any location.

UIDAI also issued an Aadhaar direct link for this purpose, through which the 12-digit Unique ID (Aadhaar Card) can be downloaded.

The Aadhaar card can be obtained by clicking on the Aadhaar direct link (eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/).
