RPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment: Vacancy Details

Number of posts- 200 posts

Eligibility for Food Safety Officer

Candidates must have a degree in Food Technology or Dairy technology / Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agriculture Science / Veterinary Sciences or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology OR possess a Masters’s Degree in Chemistry or Medicine from a recognized University OR any other equivalent qualification notified by the Government;

He or she must have successfully completed training as specified by the Food Authority from a recognized institute.

Food Safety Officer Age Limit

In order to apply for the FSO posts, an applicant must be between 18 years - 40 years as on January 1, 2023.

Salary of food safety officer

Pay matrix level - L-11 - Grade Pay – 4200

Exam pattern

The exam will be held in two parts – Part A and Part B

Part A – General knowledge of Rajasthan – 40 questions – 40 marks

Part B – Concerned subject – 110 questions – 110 marks

Duration of exam – 2.30 hours
