The 4th edition of the Global Organic Expo (GOE) covered all aspects of agriculture except the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

The 4th edition of the Global Organic Expo 2023 took place at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The event spanned three days, starting on June 2 and ending on June 4, focused on various aspects of agriculture while excluding the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. iCONEX Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. organized the event with the support of the Ministry of MSME, the Uttar Pradesh government, Nutri Hub, and SFAC.

The expo's opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Yair Esher, the Agriculture Attaché at the Embassy of Israel in India, who served as the chief guest. Many esteemed individuals attended the event, including Kajal Debnath, Chairman (North Zone) AIFPA & Chief Regulatory Officer at DGM Foods Pvt. Ltd., Ved Prakash Mahawar, President of Shespro and former Director (Onshore) at ONGC, and Sanjay Singh, among others.

During his speech at the inauguration ceremony, Yair Esher emphasized the significance of organic farming. He expressed his surprise at the statistics revealing that approximately 1 million people in India practice organic agriculture.

In addition, he joined other attendees in touring all the stalls at the event and engaged in conversations with the exhibitors regarding their products. The event featured approximately 100 stalls from various parts of the country, providing a platform for companies to showcase their products to the audience. Renowned companies such as Anand Agro Care, Kay Bee Bio-Organics Pvt. Ltd., Krishi Doot Bio Herbal Pvt. Ltd., Magnum Foods and Snacks Pvt. Ltd., and many others were present among the exhibitors.

During his speech at the event, Kajal Debnath addressed the audience and discussed the numerous environmental challenges we face. She emphasized that the only viable solution to combat these issues is by embracing sustainability.

During the event, which had a strong emphasis on organic agriculture, the Krishi Jagran team engaged in meaningful discussions with representatives from various brands. One such conversation took place with Dr Ramnath Jagtap, a representative from Krishidoot Bio Herbal Pvt. Ltd. He emphasized the significance of platforms like this for brands like theirs and expressed Krishidoot's vision to raise awareness among farmers about the detrimental impacts of chemicals. Their aim is to encourage farmers to adopt organic farming practices for a brighter and more sustainable future.

Furthermore, our team engaged with Uday Pratap Singh, Business Development Manager from Kay Bee Bio Organics Pvt. Ltd. During our interaction, we inquired about the manufacturing process of their products. Singh informed us that all their products are meticulously crafted using plant extracts. He confidently asserted that their products have proven to be highly effective, emphasizing that visible results in crops can be observed within a span of 36 hours.

In addition, Ghanshyam P Hemade, the Managing Director of Anand Agro Care, also expressed his views during the event. He emphasized the significance of considering food as a form of medicine. According to him, the chemicals utilized in food production are a leading cause of illnesses such as cancer. Mr. Hemade proposed that by completely eliminating chemicals from agriculture and embracing organic farming, we would be halfway towards winning the battle against these diseases.

The event also featured a lucky draw contest, providing participants with an exciting opportunity to test their luck and win captivating prizes.
