Good News for SBI Customers! Now Avail These 5 Banking Services from Your Phone

Customers of the State Bank of India (SBI) will no longer need to visit their local branch to obtain key banking services since the bank is now providing a variety of critical services over the phone.

SBI has launched two new toll-free lines through which consumers can access many banking services by phone, even on bank holidays and second Saturdays and Sundays.

SBI in a tweet said, "Just call to meet your banking requirements!" "Call SBI Contact Centre toll-free at 1800 1234 or 1800 2100". 

Customers of SBI can obtain the following services by dialing one of the two toll-free lines listed above.

1) Account balance and information of the previous five transactions

2) The status of ATM card banning and dispatch.

3) Requesting a new ATM card if the prior one has been banned.

4) Status of cheque book shipment

5) E-mail details of tax deducted at source (TDS) and deposit interest certificate

"Please contact SBI's 24-hour hotline at 1800 1234 (toll-free), 1800 11 2211 (toll-free), 1800 425 3800 (toll-free), 1800 2100 (toll-free), or 080-26599990." Toll-free numbers are available from all landlines and mobile phones in the nation," according to SBI's website.

In terms of assets, deposits, branches, customers, and staff, the State Bank of India is the largest commercial bank in India. It is also the country's largest mortgage lender, having fulfilled the home-buying desires of over 30 lakh Indian households. 

The bank's home loan portfolio is worth 5.62 lakh crore. The bank has a deposit base of over 40.5 lakh crore as of March 31, 2022, with a CASA ratio of 45.28 percent and advances of more than 28 lakh crore.

SBI controls 35.3 percent of the house loan industry and 23.7 percent of the vehicle loan market. With 68,016 BC outlets, SBI has the biggest network in India, with 22,266 branches and 65,030 ATMs / ADWMs. Customers that use online banking and mobile banking total 100 million and 48 million, respectively.
