Government offering Grants for Irrigation and Sowing

The farmers of Uttar Pradesh have been given grants for irrigation and sowing by the Department of Agriculture. To get the money directly in the account of farmers, they will have to register at the official website.  

At the same time, if the farmers want to take the loan for agriculture, then they can avail the loan through Kisan Credit Card. To get the Kisan Credit Card, farmers need to register at the Department of Agriculture.   Earlier, Farmers had to register at District Agricultural Office. But now farmers can register themselves at home only by just calling on the toll-free number.

Registration is mandatory to receive the grants from the Agriculture Department for irrigation and sowing machines directly in the account.  

According to Deputy Agriculture Director Dr. CP Srivastava, there isn’t any last date for registration. Farmers willing to take grants can get their registration done anytime. This registration is mandatory to get the proper information about the number of farmers availing the benefit.
