IIHR Signs MoU with 4 Companies to Sell It’s Technology

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between The Indian Institute of Horticultural Research and4 privately owned companies on commercialization of IIHR technological advances.

R Shankar, Minister of Horticulture gave over the MoU copies to the members of the 4 organizations during the progressing National Horticulture Fair 2021 here.

The 4 companies are Andhra Pradesh's Rainbow Agro Vet Seri Technologies, Bengaluru’s P J Margo, Thiruvananthapuram's Greentech Fertilizer Company and Chennai's La Ferme De Peter LLP.

"Karnataka is in the eighth spot in production of horticulture and we are in the lead position in Horticulture expansion. Our goal is to achieve second or third place in the upcoming days," Shankar stated.

The minister brought up that prices fall since ranchers rely upon one yield and develop bounteously.

Research institutions ought to urge farmers to receive an integrated farming framework in order to check overproduction, he said.
