A new cyclonic circulation is anticipated to form over the Bay of Bengal in the upcoming week.

A wet spell is expected to last throughout North West India and Uttarakhand from September 14 to September 16, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). There is a good chance that South Gujarat, North Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh will continue to experience heavy rain during the following five days.

The depression that developed over Odisha on September 11, weakened into a low-pressure region that is now heading towards southeast Madhya Pradesh and the surrounding area. Over the following 24 hours, it will continue to travel over Madhya Pradesh toward the northwest.

Over Madhya Pradesh, the Gujarat region, the Madhya Maharashtra ghat regions, Konkan, and Goa, heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted. Over Uttarakhand, Southeast Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Sikkim, isolated areas are anticipated to witness heavy rainfall.

Sea Condition

On September 13, 2022, the sea along North Andhra Pradesh and Odisha beaches will be rough to very rough.

Warning For Fishermen

On September 13, 2022, fishermen are advised not to go to the coastlines of North Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

Cyclonic Circulation Over Bay

As a new cyclonic circulation is anticipated to form over the Bay of Bengal in the upcoming week, the state of Odisha may once again see periods of rainy weather after a few days of significant rainfall in some areas of the state, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre of the IMD on Monday.

Under its impact, Odisha is predicted to have extensive rainfall activity during this time. However, the Met department has not provided any new information on the probability of the formation of low pressure and rainfall forecast associated with the system.
