Jagat Prakash Nadda, a veteran politician, has assumed the role of Union Minister for both the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This marks Nadda's return to leading the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, a position he previously held from November 9, 2014, to May 30, 2019, during Modi's first term in office. The official handover ceremony for the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers was attended by Ms. Anupriya Patel, the Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers.

Nadda's political journey began in 1975, showcasing his long-standing dedication to public service. His significant role as the election in charge of the BJP's youth wing during the 1989 Lok Sabha Polls highlighted his organizational skills. He later won three Assembly elections in his home state of Himachal Pradesh and served as a Cabinet Minister. Rising through the BJP ranks, he became the National General Secretary and Member Secretary of the BJP Parliamentary Board.

The warm reception by the Secretaries of Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, and Petrochemicals symbolized a smooth transition of power. Nadda's engagement with these Secretaries upon taking office demonstrated his commitment to understanding and advancing ongoing projects within these crucial sectors.

With Nadda in charge, both ministries are set for a phase of proactive leadership and strategic direction. His previous experience, combined with a reputation for meticulous planning and execution, positions him well to navigate the challenges and opportunities within these crucial domains.
