Kisan Andolan Updates: Farmer unions to meet Government officials for fresh talks

Fresh talks are supposed to happen between the unions and Govt. tomorrow, PM Modi released 18,000 crore as the next installment for PM-Kisan.

The opposing farmer associations met on Friday in order to examine the Centre's most recent letter welcoming them for talks. Some of the farmers indicated that they may continue their exchange with the Centre to discover a fix for the halt over the recent agri laws. The associations said they will hold another gathering on Saturday where a conventional agreement on the Center's greeting is probably going to be taken. An authority in the Union ministry of agriculture and farmers' welfare disclosed that the Centre was expecting the following round of converses to happen in the following two-three days.

Sukhbir Singh Badal, Chief of Shiromani Akali Dal commented that the Center should quit stigmatizing farmers and hold chats with them on approaches to revoke its hostile horticulture laws. The chief said, the government is displaying a "hard and uncaring mentality" towards the enduring of farmers who are suffering because of the cold wave conditions at the Delhi borders. "It appears to be that the centre wants to abuse the farmers for setting up their stance against the three agri laws which were constrained through in the last parliamentary meeting. This is the motivation behind why the government has embraced a policy which is pointed toward wearing out the farmers," the SAD chief added. 

Not long after PM Narendra Modi's communication with the farmers, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said those misinforming farmers will be taught a lesson by the general population in future. "The individuals who are deceiving the farmers by turning into their supporters will be taught a lesson by general society in future," said Tomar.
