Latest Petrol, Diesel Price: Fuel Prices Hiked By 40 Paise Per Liter

In Delhi, petrol is now available for 103.81 per liter, up from 103.41 previously and diesel rates have gone up from ₹94.67 per liter to ₹95.07.
Rates vary from state to state depending on the incidence of local taxation.
Petrol in Delhi will now cost Rs.103.81 a liter, up from Rs.103.41 before, while diesel prices will rise from Rs.94.67 to Rs.95.07.
Petrol and diesel prices in Mumbai are Rs.118.83 and Rs.103.07, respectively.
Petrol prices are above Rs.100 a-liter mark in all major cities from Srinagar to Kochi while diesel is above that mark in Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, and several cities of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh.
Diesel currently is the costliest in Chittor in Andhra Pradesh and petrol is the costliest at the border town of Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan.
Since the ending of a four-and-a-half-month long hiatus in rate revision on March 22, opposition parties have targeted the central government over the ongoing rise in fuel prices. Congress is organizing rallies and marches around the country to protest price increases as part of its 'Mehngai Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.'
On Sunday, Punjab's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) blasted the Centre over an "exponential" increase in fuel prices and accused it of "looting" the public.
"The country's common people are already bearing the brunt of inflation. Millions of individuals cannot afford basic necessities.
However, instead of offering help to the public at such times, the central government is exacerbating their difficulties by raising the costs of petrol-diesel, cooking gas, and other vital products "According to a party statement issued by a senior AAP leader.
Note – The constant increase in petrol and diesel prices are affecting the entire society that includes the farming community as well.
