The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is inviting online applications for recruitment of Livestock Development Officers in the Maharashtra Animal Husbandry Service. Candidates who are interested can apply for the post at the official website from 15 February to 7 March.

MPSC Recruitment 2022: Livestock Development Officer Details

Through this latest recruitment drive, the MPSC will recruit as many as 292 candidates for the position of Livestock Development Officer (Group A post). The vacancies have been advertised under Advt. Nos. 012/2022.

Eligibility Criteria

Age- The candidates must be in between 18 to 38 years as on June 1, 2022. The upper age limit is relaxed to 43 for candidates of reserved categories.

Educational Qualification – Applicants must have a Masters's Degree in Veterinary Medicine / Veterinary Science and animal husbandry.

Selection Process for Livestock Development Officer Posts

The Commission will select candidates on the basis of personal interview. If there are too many applications then the Commission can conduct a screening test to shortlist applicants.

Salary or pay scale of Livestock Development Officer

 Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 77,500 per month

Application fee

Candidates will have to pay an online application fee of Rs 394 (unreserved) and Rs 294 (reserved category). SC/ST candidates are exempted from it.
