To restore its ‘Green Cover’, Bengal aims to plant 50000 trees in and around the city making it the Biggest Plantation drive ever in the history of Bengal. KMC has also urged to plant as many trees as possible to the police & general public to maintain the natural balance.

The process of restoration & refining is not easy & hard work is required. The roots have to be cleaned of fungal infection, branches have to be trimmed & support have to be provided to grow. Monsoon is the current challenge for the restoration process and Insecticides, Pesticides & proper water supply will be provided to the restored trees.
