MoU Signed Between Niesbud And MoRD

The National Institute of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) and the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop a sustainable model for promoting entrepreneurship at the grassroots level by launching the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP).

According to the ministry, it intends to help entrepreneurs in rural regions start enterprises in non-agricultural sectors at the village level. The cooperation will benefit the rural community by assisting them in establishing their trades and providing comprehensive assistance until they are stable, according to the statement.

According to Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that Indians should aspire to be job creators rather than job seekers, and SVEP will aid in the creation of an innovative ecosystem, accelerating economic and social gains at the community level.

He further stated that the initiative strives to create an inclusive society by offering equal opportunity to all while also providing the necessary financial assistance.

Aggarwal stated that India is a nation of opportunity, and that by assisting our kids in gaining access to these chances, we are fulfilling their dreams.

He stated his optimism that this relationship will aid in the training of the rural population and offer them with the required tools for entrepreneurship in order to raise their income, paving the path for the development of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
