From his office in Samatva Bhavan, CM Chouhan distributed relief funds to affected farmers with just one click. The event was attended virtually by people's representatives, commissioners, collectors, and farmers from various districts who were all connected online.

"Madhya Pradesh is the only state where farmers receive the maximum amount of compensation in the event of crop damage," he said. Crops in the state were damaged three times this year owing to late rains and hailstorms. The government is on the side of the farmers.

No stone will be left unturned in order to rescue the farmers from the catastrophe. Chouhan stated that farmers worked hard day and night to ensure that food grains arrived at their homes. In times of distress, the government would provide full assistance to farmers. Surveys would be conducted in areas where crops had been lost, and assistance funds would be distributed.

Farmers would also benefit from the crop insurance programme based on crop harvesting studies. Employees from the Revenue, Agriculture, Panchayat, and Rural Development Departments conducted the survey. The state government is determined to provide complete aid to farmers. Loan repayment to impacted farmers has been delayed.

Separately, Rs 55,000 will be given upon the marriage of the affected farmers' daughter. Farmers should not be concerned. The chief minister stated that he will leave no stone unturned in giving enough help.

"Wheat procurement is ongoing at the support price. We have agreed that if the shine of wheat has been lost owing to rain, we will also acquire wheat without shine," he added.
