Now You Can Get Aadhar Card in Your Regional Language; Know How
In India, every person needs an Aadhar card now. At present, most of the printing on Aadhar card is done in English Language only. However, it is not necessary that all people in all parts of country know English, so now the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has started the facility of making Aadhar card in regional languages.

Aadhar is an important ID that is used by all including the farming community. Hence our objective is to provide this information to those people.
You can now change your Aadhar card into English, Tamil, Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Urdu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali & Marathi languages. You can apply online to change the language in Aadhar card.
Here is the complete process of this new facility of Aadhar card.
To update the language in your Aadhar:

Go to the official website of UIDAI via: https://uidai.gov.in/

Under the ‘Update Aadhar section, click on ‘Update Demographic Data Online’.

You will reach the ‘Aadhar Self Service Update Portal’.

Enter your 12-digit Aadhar number.

Enter Captcha Security Code & click on send ‘OTP’.

You will get 6-digit one-time-password (OTP) on your registered mobile number.

Enter OTP & click on ‘log-in button’.

On next screen, click ‘Update Demographics Data’ button.

Next page will have details of all the demographic data, Select ‘Your Regional Language’.

Name & Address will also be selected by Default.
Submit your application by following the procedure to update the demographics in the popup. If your name is already spelt correctly in local language, then you do not need much correction over here. Check the spelling once & edit it. Similarly, edit the address. Click on preview at the end & check once that all information is correct; then proceed further. A one-time password (OTP) will come on your mobile phone. Proceed further by entering the OTP.
If you want to change language of Aadhar card, then you will also have to pay the prescribed fee for that. For this, you can make the online payment by using your debit/credit card or net banking. After this, the request for a new language update will be submitted in your Aadhar card & you will be able to download the new Aadhar card now.
The process of updating the language in Aadhar card may take from 1 – 3 weeks. You can also get your local language changed in the Aadhar card through Aadhar Seva Kendra.
