The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is gearing up to host a one-day National Conference on Agriculture for the Rabi Campaign on September 26, 2023, in New Delhi. This important event will be chaired by the Secretary of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, bringing together stakeholders from various ministries, states, union territories, organizations, and subject-matter experts.

The conference will feature keynote addresses by renowned agricultural economists and experts, with Dr. Ashok Gulati shedding light on the transition from a production-centric approach to a food systems perspective. Additionally, Dr. Harish Damodaran will discuss the evolution from Green Revolution 1.0 to Green Revolution 2.0.
