The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) Recruitment 2021 notification has been made available on the official website. The notice has been issued to fill 381 Assistant Professor vacancies.
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 45 years old as of January 1, 2021 in order to apply for the positions. However, certain age restrictions apply according to the guidelines. The upper age limit for SC, ST, and female candidates is relaxed by 5 years. Before applying for the positions, candidates should carefully read the recruitment notification, including the educational requirements and other criteria.

Candidates should keep in mind that the link to fill out the application form will be available shortly on the official website- https://opsc.gov.in/Public/OPSC/Default.aspx.
To fill out the application form, candidates must first register and then fill out the form with the relevant information. Candidates must pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs.500.
It should be emphasised that the recruiting procedure will be carried out to fill openings in 23 different disciplines. General Medicine, Anatomy, Bio-Chemistry, Psychiatry, Orthopedic Surgery, Physiology, Microbiology, General Surgery, and others are among them. It should also be noted that applicants must register with the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961, before their appointment.
OPSC Recruitment 2021: The Selection Process
The selection process for the position of Assistant Professor would include a written test. The exam would last for three hours. The test would be MCQ-based and worth 200 marks. Candidates should be aware that there will be negative marking in the examination.
0.25 marks would be deducted for each incorrect answer. The commission will hold the examination in Cuttack. Candidates who pass the test must go through document verification and submit the necessary documents.
