Organic Revolution Takes Over North East at the 2nd Day of ‘Organic North East 2023’

The 1st Expo One Organic North East 2023, a landmark event for the organic and natural industry has begun yesterday. On the second day of the event, people witnessed a culmination of top experts from agricultural fields coming together to materialize a successful day 2.

One of the highlights of the 2nd day was the buyer-seller meet, which was attended by exhibitors from various fields, including agriculture, horticulture, food processing, import-export, wholesale, organic farms and farmer producer companies, processors, farming and agriculture consultants, organic certification agencies, and international organic organizations. This meeting provided a platform for business opportunities to be discussed and ideas to be exchanged, helping to boost the growth of the organic and natural industries. 

Visitors were able to see and purchase a wide range of organic and natural products, including organic honey, seeds for organic vegetables, flowers, and herbs, organic tea and coffee, organic spices, organic supplements and herbal products, urban gardening facilities, and organic personal care and cosmetics. This exposure to organic and natural products was an eye-opening experience for many visitors, who were able to learn about the benefits of incorporating these products into their daily lives. 

The event brought together some of the best players in the industry, offering a platform for them to showcase their products and services to a wide audience. The support of the Department of Agriculture in Assam, as well as the tireless efforts of SIMFED, made it possible for over 160 booths of organic and natural brands to participate in the event.

1st Expo One Organic North East 2023 was a successful start to the three-day event taking place in Khanapara, Guwahati. The expo, which is being organized by the Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCDNER), is aimed at promoting and showcasing the best of the organic and natural industry in the North Eastern Region.
