PAU Organizes Workshop on Agri Start-ups

PAU Vice-Chancellor emphasizes innovation's significance for Agri start-ups while praising Punjab's farmers and Krishi Vigyan Kendras at a workshop on 'Agri Start-ups Interaction'.

Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Vice-Chancellor, Satbir Singh Gosal, inaugurated a one-day workshop titled 'Agri Start-ups Interaction' at the Farmers’ Service Centre.

Skilled and successful entrepreneurs, trained by the Punjab Agri-Business Incubator (PABI), shared their inspiring journeys of challenges and achievements during the workshop.

In a candid conversation, Gosal emphasized, "Innovation is the key to the success of Agri start-ups. As a premier agricultural institute in India, PAU has earned global recognition for its exceptional contributions to the Green Revolution, ensuring food security for the nation."

He further praised the farmers of Punjab for their fearless determination and unwavering spirit, earning appreciation worldwide. Gosal stressed the priority of making Punjab self-reliant.

The guest of honour, Director of Extension Education, GS Buttar, lauded the role of Krishi Vigyan Kendras in nurturing Agri start-ups. Expressing delight at witnessing the rapid progress of start-ups in diversification, he encouraged them to continue their journey towards scaling greater heights in the future.
