Punjab Agriculture University Jobs: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker under the mission program "Minor Oilseeds of Indian Origin" for the project "Mainstreaming sesame germplasm for productivity enhancement & sustainability through genomics assisted core development and trait discovery."

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline. (Preferably Agriculture/Botany/Biochemistry).

  • Knowledge of Punjabi up to Matric level.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in lab and fieldwork in relevant fields shall be preferred.

PAU Recruitment 2022: Salary Details

The selected candidate would be given Rs.18,000/- per month as a fixed salary plus 16% HRA

Important Dates:

Job Post Closing Date: Submit your job application to the office on or before 15th July 2022

Interview Date: 26th July 2022

Interview Time: 11 a.m.

Please Note:

  • The desirous candidate fulfilling the qualification/experience should send their application on plain paper complete in all respect along with attested copies of the testimonials and a Bank Draft of Rs. 200/- in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to this office on or before 15-07-2022.

  • The application received after due date shall not be considered.

  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is a publicly supported agricultural university that is situated in the Punjab province's Ludhiana district. It is a state agricultural university in India.  It was founded in 1962, making it the third-oldest agricultural university in the country. On July 8, 1963, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was India's prime minister at the time, gave it an official opening remark. In India throughout the 1960s, PAU was a pioneer in the Green Revolution.
