Paytm, SBI, and NPCI Collaborate to Launch RuPay Credit Card, Unveiling Exciting User Benefits

Paytm, SBI Cards, and NPCI are joining forces to introduce the Next Generation Co-branded Rupay Credit Cards. This collaboration aims to improve Financial Inclusion. The upcoming credit card offers various benefits, including welcome perks, cashback rewards, and milestone advantages, ensuring an exceptional user experience.

In addition to the innovative features, they are excited to announce the introduction of the UPI payment facility through our credit cards. This groundbreaking feature allows Paytm SBI cardholders to seamlessly utilize their cards on the RuPay network. The primary objective behind launching this credit card is two-fold: expand access to credit and foster financial inclusion by integrating new users into the formal economy.

As part of the Welcome Benefit program, users will be delighted to receive a special benefit of Rs 75,000. Additionally, they will enjoy a complimentary Paytm First Membership, offering a wide range of features such as OTT platform subscriptions, discounted flight tickets, and bookings made through the Paytm app. This exclusive card is designed for digitally savvy users, providing rewards and savings for both online and offline transactions on the Paytm app.

Cardholders will enjoy a generous 3% cash back on travel and movie ticket bookings made through the Paytm app using the Paytm SBI card, along with 2% cash back on other purchases made on the Paytm app and 1% cash back on all other card usages. With this card, users can unlock a world of benefits and savings with every transaction.

In response to the introduction of the Paytm SBI Card, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the Founder, and CEO of Paytm expressed his belief that India is leading the way in the upcoming payment revolution, where credit will emerge as the primary payment option. With the Paytm Rupay Credit Card, developed in collaboration with SBI Card, users can expect an exceptional range of benefits.

Sharma highlighted that Paytm users are already well-acquainted with QR code-based payments, and the launch of the UPI QR code for the RuPay Credit Card will further enhance mobile-based transactions, ushering in a new era in digital payments.
