PF Account Balance Check: One of the biggest supports for salaried employees is the Provident Fund or PF Account. It gives them a safety net to fall back on in the event of an emergency. One of the common problems that most of the employees face is they are not able to check their account balance or money deposited per month. But let me tell you that now they can easily know their account balance sitting at home.

Here we have mentioned four easy ways to check your PF Account balance, while simply sitting at home.

Check PF Balance with A Missed Call

  • Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) offers a missed call service to check their PF balance.

  • Individuals can use the registered number to make a missed call to 011-22901406.

  • They will receive a text message with information about the PF Account on the registered phone.

Check PF Balance Using App

  • The Umang App can also be used to check your PF balance.

  • Click on 'EPFO' in the app, then tap on 'Employee Centric Services.'

  • After that, select 'View Passbook' and enter your UAN and password.

  • Fill in the OTP that was sent to the registered phone number and click 'Submit.'

  • On the screen, the balance will be presented.

Check PF Balance With Using SMS Method

  • Individuals can SMS EPFO UAN LAN to 7738299899 using their registered cell phone number. You can substitute ENG for English, HIN for Hindi, and TAM for Tamil in place of LAN.

  • A text message with the PF account balance and other information will be sent to the registered phone.

  • First of all visit the official website of EPFO, for further information.

  • The UAN and Password can then be filled up.

  • Then, after filling in the captcha, click 'Submit.'

  • Now select 'View/ Download Passbook' from the drop-down menu.

  • The information can be found in the passbook on the screen.
