In a virtual meeting today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a nationwide initiative aimed at ensuring the widespread success of government flagship schemes. The interaction shed light on the inspiring journey of Alpeshbhai Chandubhai Nizama, an ITI-certified farmer and diploma holder in hardware engineering from Bharuch, Gujarat.
During the conversation, the Prime Minister inquired about Alpeshbhai's decision to transition from a hardware engineering job to farming on his ancestral 40-acre land. Closing the session, Prime Minister Modi commended individuals like Alpeshbhai, considering them an inspiration for the youth turning to agriculture. He assured farmers of a supportive environment from farm to market, emphasizing the importance of modernized techniques, innovation, and new thinking.
