PM Modi Launches Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra & Inaugurates 10000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra
The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, utilizing about 3,000 vehicles, is expected to cover approximately 6,000 villages daily until January 26, fostering development and inclusivity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra via video conferencing and marked the occasion by launching the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendra on Novemeber 30. The event also witnessed the dedication of the 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra at AIIMS, Deoghar.
During the virtual program, Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar extended a warm welcome, with participation from lakhs of individuals representing various segments of society, including youth, women, farmers, and citizens from diverse regions across the country. The event was attended by Governors, Lieutenant Governors, Chief Ministers, Central and State Ministers, MPs-MLAs, and other public representatives.
Prime Minister Modi expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming trust shown by citizens, acknowledging the transformation of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra into a public movement from a government initiative. He highlighted the changing dynamics of the Yatra, affectionately renaming the VBSY van from ‘Vikas Rath’ to ‘Modi Ki Guarantee vehicle.’
The ‘Modi Ki Guarantee vehicle’ has covered over 12,000 gram panchayats, engaging with approximately 30 lakh citizens. Prime Minister Modi praised the active participation of women in VBSY and emphasized its evolution into a youth-driven initiative.
Encouraging the use of social media platforms, Prime Minister Modi urged beneficiaries to share their experiences by uploading photographs and videos on the Namo App. He commended the positive impact of VBSY on village cleanliness, attributing it to campaigns welcoming the ‘Modi Ki Guarantee vehicle.’
Reflecting on India's progress, the Prime Minister emphasized the citizens' role in the decision to make India a developed nation. He reiterated the government's commitment to addressing the needs of the poor, women, farmers, and youth, stating that he will not rest until these issues are completely addressed.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the importance of the recently inaugurated 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra, commonly known as ‘Modi’s Medicine Shop,’ offering medicines at significantly discounted rates for the benefit of the poor and the middle class. He applauded the citizens for their support and announced the expansion of Jan Aushadhi Kendras from 10,000 to 25,000.
In conclusion, Prime Minister Modi underscored the vital role of the entire government machinery and employees in the success of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He recalled the Gram Swaraj Abhiyan's success and called for collective efforts to ensure the Yatra's success, emphasizing the importance of Sabka Prayas.
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, present at the program, praised Prime Minister Modi's commitment to transparency, sensitivity towards the poor, and the meticulous implementation of schemes. He highlighted the comprehensive nature of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, aiming to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.
Tomar outlined the efforts to reach backward districts through aspirational districts, ensuring justice and basic facilities for tribals. He also discussed the empowerment of women through the Drone Didi program, contributing to self-reliance and improved livelihoods.
Prime Minister Modi envisions a developed India where every citizen contributes to making the country the best on the global map.
