PMAY-G: Centre Transfers Rs.700 crores in the Bank Accounts of Beneficiaries; Check Updated List

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin is its official name (PM Awas Yojana- Gramin). The government has devised an ambitious scheme. Low-income individuals are granted loans with a subsidy to build dwellings under this scheme.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running a scheme for low-income people through which they may easily purchase their dream home. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin is its official name. The government has devised an ambitious scheme wherein low-income individuals are granted loans with a subsidy to build a house under this scheme. 

PM Modi has released the first installment of the scheme through video conference. Over Rs.700 crore has been deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in Tripura. 

 If your annual income is up to Rs.6 lakh, you will be eligible for a 6.5 percent credit-linked subsidy. Simultaneously, this loan should be for no more than 20 years. If you require additional funds to build a home, you will need to take out a loan for the additional funds at a simple interest rate. 

Application process for PM Awas Yojana 

  1. To apply under this scheme, the government has created a mobile based housing app. It can be downloaded from Google Play Store.

  2. After downloading the app, login ID has to be created with the help of mobile number. 

  3. Now this app will send a One- time passwordto your mobile number. After logging in with the help of this, fill the required information. 

  1. Note that the central government chooses the beneficiaries of this scheme. After this the final list of beneficiaries is put on the website. 

 How to Check Name in PM Awas Yojana List

  • First of allgo to the website nic.in/netiay/Benificiary.aspx. 

  • If there is a registration number, enter it and click. After this the details will appear.

  • If the registration number is not there, click on 'Advance Search'.

  • Then fill the form which comes.

  • Then click on the search option.

  • If your name is present in the PMAY-G list, then all the relevant detail will be visible.

PM Awas Yojana started in the year 2016 

  • PM Awas Yojana – Gramin, is one of the major schemes of the Government of India. This scheme was started in November 2016. It aims to build 14 crore rural houses with all basic amenities by the year 2021-22.

  • However, this list initially included 95 crorefamilies. So far 16366,459 houses have been completed under this scheme. At the same time, Rs.219789.39 crore has been released under PM Awas Yojana- Gramin. 

This is one of the best Government Schemes and a great initiative taken by PM Modi for low-income people.
