Pre-Vibrant Gujarat Summit: MoUs worth Rs 2,359 crore Signed in Agri-Business
The Gujarat government said on Tuesday that Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs 2,359 crore for investment in the agriculture sector in the state were inked during a three-day pre-Vibrant Gujarat Summit event organized at the Anand Agricultural University from December 14-16.

The 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022 will take place from January 10 to 12, 2022. In its 10th edition, the central theme: ‘From Aatmanirbhar Gujarat to Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, presents a unique opportunity to address shared contemporary challenges and set a path forward for global sustainable development by augmenting international cooperation and partnerships.
Various MoU’s were Signed:
The three-day pre-summit event was inaugurated on Tuesday by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Union Minister for Dairy, Parshottam Rupala. The event will feature over 90 speakers, 300 companies, and over 5,000 farmers and officials from 23 states, with each session focusing on a different theme.
The MoUs were inked in the presence of Devvrat and Rupala. On the third and final day, December 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address the pre-summit event.
Aamanya Organic Private Limited signed a Rs 192 crore memorandum of understanding for a 150 kilolitre per day ethanol plant. Iskcon Balaji Food signed a Rs 500 crore agreement for a frozen potato base plant for snack production in Himmatnagar.
In Gandhinagar, an MoU worth Rs 200 crore was signed for an agri-produce green e-commerce project. Similarly, Paras Spices signed Rs 100 crore MoU in Rajkot for dehydration, pack-house, sortex, and spice grinding.
UPS signed a Rs 500 crore memorandum of understanding for a 500 kilolitre per day ethanol plant in Dahej. The Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for infrastructural facilities worth Rs 25 crore.
Luna Chemicals Private Limited signed a Rs 650 crore memorandum of understanding for a 500 kilolitre per day ethanol project.
