In many ways, digital media gives leadership to society. As a result, the society's ideology is greatly influenced, both positively and negatively. Media should also be a motivator so that society and governments can get inspiration and guidance.
Media also protects the interests of various segments of society. It also serves as a watchdog for societal policies, traditions, beliefs, civilization and culture. The media informs diverse segments of society on various events taking place all around the world. Therefore, media should deliver us with authentic information.
Through its news, media also plays a significant influence in the imbalance and balance of society. Through its function, the media may promote a sense of peace, harmony and civility in society. Media also plays a significant part in the creation of a sense of dedication and oneness toward the nation. Media should take an active role in broadcasting inspirational and constructive news.
To carry this idea forward, as well as to inspire and encourage other institutions, Progressive Agri Leadership Summit 2021 will be conducted on December 18th at Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
There will be awards distributed under different categories. Krishi Jagran will also get an award for the outstanding and leading role in Excellence in Digital Media on 18 Dec 2021.
This Summit is organized by Krishi Udyami Krishak Vikas Chamber, Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry & The Sikkim State Cooperative Supply & marketing Federation Ltd.
The event will be graced by Parshottam Rupala, Minister of Fisheries, animal Husbandry & Dairying, who is also the chief guest for the event.
Virender Kanwar, Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Fisheries, Himachal Pradesh, Jai Prakash Dalal, Minister of Agriculture, Dairy Development & Fisheries, Haryana and Randeep Singh Nabha, Minster of Agriculture & Farmer welfare Food Processing, Punjab will also be present in the Krishi Udyami Krishak Ratna Puraskar.
