Sanyukta Kisan Morcha Launches 'Jan Jagran' Campaign From January 10 to 20 to Counter Pro-Corporate Policies of RSS-BJP

The United Kisan Morcha, spearheading the farmers' movement, has declared an escalation in their protests, unveiling a robust plan of agitation to assert demands for Minimum Support Price (MSP), loan waivers, and the annulment of electricity bills. This initiative comes in response to what they perceive as pro-corporate policies perpetuated by the RSS-BJP alliance.

Commencing from January 10 to January 20, the Sanyukta Kisan Morcha has launched a 'Jan Jagran' campaign to counter the government's alleged pro-corporate stance. This campaign, aimed at spreading awareness, will involve door-to-door leaflet distribution across 20 states, denouncing policies detrimental to farmers, laborers, and citizens at large.

In a bid to amplify their dissent, the All-India General Body Meeting of the United Kisan Morcha has been scheduled to address crucial issues such as securing MSP for all crops, halting power privatization, and liberating farmers from indebtedness. Moreover, the call for action includes demands for the dismissal and prosecution of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ajay Mishra Teni, linked to the Lakhimpur Kheri massacre.

Highlighting their commitment to nationwide solidarity, a tractor parade has been slated for Republic Day, January 26. Set to span 500 districts, farmers participating in these parades will affirm their allegiance to democratic values as they wave national flags alongside banners representing agricultural and labor organizations.

The expansive outreach effort seeks to engage at least 40% of the nation's households, rallying support against what the farmers describe as exploitative corporate interests aligned with the BJP-led Modi government.

The message from the United Kisan Morcha is clear: an urgent call for farmers across India to mobilize, amplify their voices and demonstrate an unwavering determination to combat what they perceive as a corporate-communal nexus. The movement vows to persist until their demands are met, signaling a steadfast resolve to overcome divisive tactics and uphold the principles enshrined in India's Constitution.
