SBI Customers Alert! Credit Card New Rules to be Implemented From Jan 1; Check Guidelines Inside

The SBI credit card rules for some cardholders will be changed from January 2023. For owners of SimplyCLICK Cards, State Bank of India Cards and Payment Services has amended a few regulations. In addition, starting on January 1, the guidelines for Reward Points on purchases made online at Amazon.in using SimplyCLICK/SimplyCLICK will change.
According to SBI Cards & Payment Services, "with effect from January 1, 2023, the accumulation of 10X Reward Points on purchases made at Amazon.in using the SimplyCLICK/SimplyCLICK Advantage SBI Card will be reduced to 5X Reward Points. Your card will continue to earn 10X Reward Points on purchases made online at Apollo 24X7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, EazyDiner, Lenskart, and Netmeds.”
From November 15, 2022, the SBI Cards imposed increased fees on credit card rent payments as well as amended fees for EMI transactions.
"Charges on your credit card will be adjusted or levied starting on November 15, 22." From Rs 99 + applicable taxes in the past, the processing cost for merchant EMI transactions has been changed to Rs 199 + applicable taxes. Transaction processing charges for rent payments would be Rs 99 plus any relevant taxes,” it stated.
