UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions (SAS), an integrated agtech platform of UPL Ltd., has unveiled a new agri-solution named Argyle, specially designed to enhance the sustainability and productivity of soyabean and cotton crops.

Argyle is an innovative and cost-effective blend of Acetamiprid 25% and Bifenthrin 25% Wettable Granules (WG), utilizing an eco-friendly WG formulation that quickly dissolves in water, ensuring better canopy coverage and efficacy.

By employing lower dosage requirements per acre, Argyle promotes sustainable farming practices while offering a pocket-friendly solution for farmers. The use of the WG formulation also ensures easy handling, reducing the risk of spillage, drift, or dust formation during the application, thereby contributing to cleaner air and healthier soil.

The eco-friendly product proves effective in controlling a wide range of pest categories, including whitefly, aphids, jassids, semilooper, and girdle beetles. To achieve optimal results, UPL SAS recommends applying Argyle 40-45 days after sowing in cotton and 20-25 days after sowing in soyabean during the kharif season.

Ashish Dobhal, CEO of UPL SAS, emphasized that Argyle aims to provide farmers with a cost-effective solution that not only addresses their pest control needs but also encourages the adoption of environmentally responsible practices. The result would be improved yields and increased profitability for farmers.

UPL SAS boasts a strong and diverse portfolio, encompassing traditional crop protection solutions, biologicals, and physical and digital agricultural services, including spraying and harvesting, financing, insurance, farm mechanization, and comprehensive farm advisory services. With the introduction of Argyle, the company continues to prioritize sustainable agriculture and supports farmers in achieving better outcomes for their crops and the environment.
