The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for the Constable (General Duty) recruitment examination 2025, opening up 39,481 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply for the posts until October 14, 2024, by 11:00 PM through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

The SSC aims to fill a total of 39,481 Constable (GD) positions across various forces, including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Special Security Force (SSF), Assam Rifles (AR), Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:

• Age: Between 18 and 23 years as of January 1, 2025.

• Education: Must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognized board in India.

Selection Process

The SSC GD Constable 2025 examination will be conducted in four phases:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Women, SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from the application fee. For others, the fee is ₹100.
