Stunning 'Khadi Fashion Show' Captivates Audience on White Rann of Kutch, Gujarat

The purpose of Khadi Fashion Show is to further promote the excellent design of Khadi garments-apparels, accessories for Khadi fashion promotion, to promote Khadi as a brand all over the world.

Khadi Fashion Show was the first of its kind in the Rann of Kutch with the goal of popularizing Khadi among the youth

On January 29th, Khadi and Village Industries Commission organized an exciting Mega 'Khadi fashion show', the first ever on salt-pan covered white fields at 'Rann of Kutch', taking a step forward towards realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Khadi for Nation' and 'Khadi for Fashion'.

 

This mega event was the first of its kind in the Rann of Kutch with the goal of popularising Khadi among the youth in the country and abroad market, promoting cultural heritage and art, which was organised by efforts with KVIC's 'Centre of Excellence for Khadi,' to establish new dimensions of Khadi.

Its purpose is to further promote the excellent design of Khadi garments-apparels, accessories for Khadi fashion promotion, to promote Khadi as a brand all over the world.

Students from NIFT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, added to the excitement of the event by performing the fashion catwalk in this Khadi fashion event.

 

On this occasion, Manoj Kumar, Chairman, KVIC informed that for the first time such an exciting Khadi mega fashion show has been organised by KVIC in 'Rann of Kutch', which will become a medium for Brand promotion of 'Khadi.'

It disseminate new designs among Khadi lovers, as well as it would be a source of inspiration in the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fulfil the promises of a developed India, and take forward the vision of 'AtmaNirbhar Bharat'.

A large number of tourists gathered to watch the Rann show. On this occasion, folk singer Borelal captivated the audience by performing popular local folklore.

 

Khadi is a symbol of the Swadeshi movement, and it has been a pioneer in establishing its tenacity as a fabric that is both empowering and modern in its interpretation. That is why khadi has gained popularity among the younger generation and is now recognized as an effective medium of communication.
