The key highlights of TAFE's presence at the world's largest agricultural trade fair included the debut of an electric tractor and the introduction of a groundbreaking hydrogen-powered tractor.

TAFE's electric tractor, a technological marvel, boasts 20 kW of power and features a highly efficient transmission, a low-noise powertrain, and a powerful electric motor with over 90% efficiency. Notable for its fast-charging capability and compatibility with the European Combined Charging System (CCS2), this electric tractor extends its applications beyond agriculture, capturing the interest of municipalities, logistics, and material handling businesses.

The E30 compact tractor, with 27 horsepower, is equipped with a lithium-ion battery and a two-speed transmission, enabling seamless speed transitions from 0 to 10 km/h or 0 to 24 km/h. Expected to hit the market in 2024, TAFE is yet to disclose pricing details for this eco-friendly innovation.

Hydrogen-Powered Tractor

TAFE's concept hydrogen-powered tractor, boasting 55 horsepower and featuring a Simpson combustion engine, signifies the company's commitment to exploring alternative fuels and sustainable solutions. However, it's crucial to note that the infrastructure for refuelling is not currently in place, according to the company's statement. This display underlines TAFE's dedication to pushing the boundaries of innovation in agricultural machinery and environmentally conscious solutions.
