These Rules Related to GST, Aadhaar, PAN, PF, LPG Changes From Today

Several new rules regarding banking and finance will be effective in India from today (September 1, 2021). As these new rules will have a major impact on the lives of the common people hence it becomes important to know about these changes.

Several new rules regarding banking and finance will be effective in India from today (September 1, 2021). As these new rules will have a major impact on the lives of the common people hence it becomes important to know about these changes.

Some of the new rules that will come in effect from September 2021 are mentioned below: 

New GST rule: 

According to the new rule, “registered person shall not be allowed to furnish the details of outward supplies of goods or services or both in Form GSTR-1 if he or she has not furnished the return in Form GSTR-3B for the preceding two months.” 

New PF rule: 

If you do not link your Aadhaar card to your PF account by September 1, your EPF benefits may be reduced. If a PF account is not linked to Aadhaar or a UAN is not Aadhaar validated, the ECR-Electronic Challan cum Return will be skipped. 

Linking of PAN card with Aadhar card: 

The deadline for linking their PAN with their Aadhaar is September 30. 

Bharat series (BH-series): 

For new vehicles, the transport ministry has adopted the “Bharat series (BH-series)” registration mark. When the owner of a vehicle with this registration mark moves from one state to another, the vehicle will not require a new registration mark. 

PNB saving account: 

Starting September 1, the Punjab National Bank will reduce interest rates on savings deposits. Existing and new savings account holders will be eligible for the new 2.90 percent annual interest rate. 

LPG prices: 

The price of LPG cylinder cooking gas has been increased by Rs.25 per bottle, up from Rs.859.5 previously. In both the national capital and Mumbai, a 14.2-kg subsidised and non-subsidized LPG cylinder now costs Rs.884.50. As a result, a 14.2kg LPG gas cylinder in Kolkata will cost Rs.911, while LPG cylinders in Chennai will cost Rs.900.5.
