These States Will Get Relief From Heatwave as IMD Predicts Rainfall & Thunderstorm For Next Few Days

IMD predicts isolated to scattered rains with thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds over Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, and Odisha over the next five days.

Weather Report: Strong south-westerly winds from the Bay of Bengal and a Western Disturbance are expected to cause thunderstorm activity and rainfall during the next four days, bringing relief to parts of northwest, central, and east India. Thunderstorms with lightning and strong winds are expected to spread across the Western Himalayan Region and neighboring lowlands starting today.

Rainfall likely in these states

Over the next four days, the Indian Meteorological Department predicts heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds are expected in Assam and Meghalaya until April 23.
