Many people might be surprised by the auction of three fish for Rs 2.25 lakh at the Neendakara fishing harbor, because the Ghol fish, which have the least chance of getting caught in the fishermen's net, was caught and then sold in the market.

The Ghol fish, often known as the 'Sea Gold,' is found in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Odisha's coastal regions. In countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Japan, they are in high demand. The Ghol fish is the world's most expensive sea fish, and its price is determined by its size and weight.

What makes Ghol fish the most expensive fish?

The bladder discovered in the stomach of the Ghol fish was used to make the thread used in many procedures, including heart surgery. It is also claimed that the fish can help with immunity, sexual potency, and kidney stone removal. Iodine, Omega-3, iron, magnesium, fluoride, and selenium are all found in Ghol fish.

The vitamins, minerals, and lipids included in Ghol fish can help improve vision and muscle performance. Collagen included in the lipids of the fish helps to reduce wrinkles in the skin, hence eating Ghol fish is beneficial to skin health.

Children's brain cells and capacity can be enhanced by eating Ghol fish on a regular basis. This is boosted by the Omega-3 in the fish. Male fish are more expensive than female fish.

Price of Ghol Fish:

The male fish, weighing 30 kilograms, will cost Rs 4 to 5 lakh in the market, while the female fish will cost Rs 1 to 2 lakh. Another internal organ of the fish, but one that is in high demand as well.

In Satpati, Mumbai, it costs Rs 5- 6 lakh. Its flesh, on the other hand, costs only Rs 500 to 600 on the market. It's also used in the filtration of wine and the manufacture of cosmetics.
