The Tirumala Devasthanams (TTD) independent trust, which manages the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh, has recently released the special entry darshan (SED) tickets on its official website.

The online quota of the special entry tickets for the months of November & December were made available starting at 9 am on 22nd October (Friday). The tickets cost is Rs 300 per person. The entry tickets for the temple are kept less so that anyone including the people from the farmer community can visit the temple.

In a statement, the temple body said that the November quota of slotted Sarva darshan (SSD) tickets will be open for an online booking from 9 am on 23rd October (Saturday).

However, the tickets for darshan have been put on a hold for 2 days- 8 & 16 December - as they concur with the Panchami Theertham at the Tiruchanoor temple & the beginning of a Dhanurmasam at Tirumala.

The darshan will take place with the COVID-19 guidelines in place. The footfall at the Tirumala has been capped at less than 30,000 devotees a day. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the average pilgrim footfall at the Tirumala was around 70,000 – 80,000 devotees on a regular day.

This is how you can book your tickets online for the darshan at Tirumala Temple:

  • The page will load to a notice from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).

  • Log in or Sign up on that page.

  • You will then be forwarded to the page, where you can fill in all the details that are being asked & complete the tickets buying process.
