Two Action-Packed Exhibition & Conference Days At The 3rd Global Vertical Farming Show Come To An End!

The 3rd Global Vertical Farming Show - GVF 2022, which took place on November 29th and 30th at Welcomhotel By ITC, Dwarka, New Delhi, wrapped on a strong note.

Top-tier worldwide enterprises from multiple verticals catering to Urban Agriculture, CEA, Vertical Farming, Protected cultivation, Hydroponics etc. displayed their best technologies and solutions while networking, analysing and brainstorming with important industry leaders, key policymakers, and other expert enthusiasts.

GVF 2022 also conducted a high-profile conference parallel to the exhibition in which key policymakers like Samuel Praveen Kumar - Joint Secretary - Extension, Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, Investments & Price Support, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, S.K. Singh - Joint Director at National Horticulture Board (NHB), GOI, Dr. Prabhat Kumar - Horticulture Commissioner, Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, GOI, S Chellaiah - Director - Horticulture, NDMC, Dr. Naveen Patle - Additional Commissioner (Horticulture), Department of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare at Ministry of Agriculture, Annapoorna Shankar - Sr. Investment Specialist & Sector Lead - Agriculture, Invest India, Dr. Naved Sabir - Principal Scientist, IARI, GOI, Dr. Murtaza Hasan - Principal Scientist, ICAR-IARI, GOI and many other dignitaries joined in and went extremely vocal about this emerging industry’s adaptations and proliferation in their lecture and engaging panel discussions.

Their presentation shared policy updates and subsidies for horticulture in India. They discussed the causes affecting the new farming age, as well as other concerns and tech solutions, such as the world's constantly rising population, food insecurity, food waste, climate change, and the demand for natural resources.

Representatives from the sponsoring companies and other organisations demonstrated their services and solutions catering to Vertical Farming and urban agriculture in India.
