Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Arjun Munda Visits Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology at Ranchi

Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda, visited the Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology at Garh Khatanga in Ranchi on December 16. Upon his arrival, the Minister was warmly welcomed with traditional ceremonies performed by tribal children.
During the visit, Arjun Munda, accompanied by Member of Parliament Sanjay Seth and Institute Director Dr. Sujay Rakshit, undertook a comprehensive review of the Institute's activities. The primary focus was on exploring ways to enhance agricultural production for the benefit of rural communities.
Highlighting the significance of agriculture in the country, Minister Arjun Munda emphasized that India's true essence lies in its villages, where agriculture plays a pivotal role in sustaining livelihoods.
He underscored the intrinsic link between agricultural growth and rural development, noting that the Institute is actively working towards realizing this connection.
