UP Govt to Start Free Laptop Distribution after Diwali, Check Latest Updates

Recently, the yogi government announced that they will be providing free laptops to over 20 Lakh students in the state. The application process had begun and it is believed that the Yogi Government may start the process of distribution of laptops in the first week of November after Diwali. Students in UP will get the benefit of free laptops after Diwali. Actually, the government may soon start the tender process for laptops. It is being told that with the start of the tender process, the government can also take the applications of the students. 

Government will give laptops to 20 lakh students 

Yogi Adityanath government announced that 20 lakh students will be given free laptops in UP. After the announcement of CM, the department has started preparations for implementation. It is believed that laptop distribution can also be started in late November or early December. 

Who can Apply? 

To get the benefit of free laptop scheme in UP, it is mandatory for the beneficiaries to be a native of UP. Apart from this, the candidate should have passed 12th with good marks. The government will make merit list after the application, only if the student passes the merit list, the laptops will be distributed.

Students will need to visit the official website and click on the “Apply Online” option. It will take you to the scheme’s webpage.
