UPPSC Agricultural Services Recruitment 2021: Applications Invited for 564 Posts; Complete Details Inside

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission or UPPSC is inviting online applications for agricultural services recruitment 2021. Those interested and eligible can apply online at the official website - uppsc.up.nic.in.

The online application process has started and the last date to apply for the posts is 29 January 2021.

UPPSC Agricultural Services Job Details

GROUP - A (There will be a written exam followed by interview)

1. District Horticulture Officer – Candidates must have a degree in B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.Sc. (Horticulture).

2. Principal Govt. Food Science Training Center/Food Processing Officer – Applicants must possess a degree in B.Sc. (with Chemistry as a subject) / B.Sc. Training Center/ (Agriculture) with two years Post-graduate Associate Course in Fruit & Vegetable Technology from Government Food Processing & Technology Institute or any other recognised institution, or should have M.Sc. in (Food Technology)/ M.Sc. (Food Preservation)/M.Sc. (Food Science).

GROUP B (There will be only a Written Exam)

3. Sr Technical Assistant (Botany Branch) – Candidates must have Postgraduate degree in Agro Botany / Plant reproduction with Science of origin or PG degree in Botany in genetics or Plant reproduction. 

4. Sr Technical Assistant (Agronomy Branch) – Should have Postgraduate degree in Agronomy.

5. Sr Technical Assistant (Plant Protection) - Have Postgraduate degree in Entomology / Plant pathology or M.Sc. (Plant Science) with specialization in Entomology / Plant Pathology.

6. Sr Technical Assistant (Developmental Branch) – Should possess Postgraduate degree in relevant field.

7. Sr Technical Assistant (Chemistry Branch) – Must have Postgraduate degree in Agriculture Chemistry, Soil Science or Soil Conservation.

Age Limit

Minimum age of candidates must be 21 years and maximum should be 40

Application Fee

For Unreserved /Economically weaker sections/ OBC - Rs. 100/- plus On-line processing fee Rs. 25/-

For Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe/ Ex-Serviceman –Rs. 40/- plus On-line processing fee Rs. 25/-

For Handicapped – No exam fee but they will have to pay on-line processing fee of Rs. 25/-
