UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 Result: Aditya Srivastava Tops; 1016 Candidates Recommended

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of the Civil Services Exam 2023 (CSE 2023), with candidates now able to access the merit list on the official website upsc.gov.in.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final result of the Civil Services Exam 2023 (CSE 2023), bringing closure to a rigorous selection process. Aspirants who appeared for the UPSC CSE 2023 exam can now access and download the final result from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. The final result, combination of written and personality tests, marks the successful completion of a multi-tiered evaluation process. 

The examination serves as an entry point for aspiring candidates to secure positions in esteemed services such as the Indian Administrative Service(IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Central Services, Group A and B.

In recent years, the All-India Rank (AIR) topper list has seen a remarkable trend with women securing top positions. This year, Aditya Srivastava and Animesh Pradhan have clinched AIR 1 and 2, respectively, while Donuru Ananya Reddy has secured the third position.

A total of 1016 candidates have received recommendations for appointment, underscoring the competitiveness of the selection process. The UPSC has released the roll numbers of qualified candidates, with 355 recommendations being kept provisional, subject to further verification. Out of the total recommended candidates, 347 comes from the General category, 115 from EWS, 303 from OBC, 165 from SC, and 86 from ST backgrounds.

The UPSC CSE main exam was conducted in a subjective mode across two shifts from September 15 to September 24, 2023. Each shift spanned three hours, with morning sessions from 9 am to 12 pm and afternoon sessions from 2 pm to 5 pm.

  3. Access the result in PDF format by opening the link.

  4. Search for your roll number within the PDF document.

  5. Download and retain a printed copy of the PDF for future reference.
