In a groundbreaking show of solidarity, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has achieved a historic milestone, rallying over 2 crore participants within a span of less than a month. This remarkable surge underscores the Yatra's significant impact, uniting millions in a collective commitment to national development.

The Yatra's accelerating momentum is evident in the statistics, with the first crore participants reached in just 22 days and the subsequent crore achieved in a mere 7 days. Each passing day witnesses an expansion of the Yatra's reach, eliciting overwhelmingly positive responses from the public and sustaining its robust momentum.

Nationwide Reach and Impact

The Yatra has made its presence felt in nearly 60,000 Gram Panchayats, catalyzing progress and advancement across the nation. In a short timeframe, it has garnered the support of more than 1.6 crore citizens dedicated to working towards a Viksit Bharat by 2047. As part of the "Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani" initiative, over 1.30 crore individuals have shared their personal narratives, reflecting the diverse experiences and aspirations of citizens nationwide.

Commitment to Public Health

With a core focus on citizen well-being, the Yatra has organized health camps nationwide, screening more than 42 lakh individuals to date.

Inclusive Participation Across Regions

Embraced wholeheartedly across all regions, the Yatra serves as a direct channel for delivering government services and support, even in the most remote areas. Uttar Pradesh leads in participation with nearly 80 lakh participants, followed by Maharashtra with over 29 lakh, Gujarat with over 23 lakh, and Jammu & Kashmir with over 16 lakh participants. Andhra Pradesh secures a significant position with over 11 lakh participants.

Noteworthy Achievements

  • Over 29,000 Gram Panchayats achieved complete coverage with 100% saturation of Ayushman Cards.

  • More than 18,000 Gram Panchayats reached 100% saturation for the 'Har ghar jal' scheme.

  • Over 34,000 Gram Panchayats achieved full digitization of Land Records.

  • In support of the Swachh Bharat initiative, over 9,000 Gram Panchayats meet the criteria for 100% compliance with the ODF Plus model.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15th from Khunti, Jharkhand, is a transformative expedition encouraging deeper ties with residents across India. This bold project intends to bridge the gap between the government and the people by empowering communities and building the groundwork for a more inclusive Viksit Bharat.
