Dhanuka Agritech has introduced 'Tizom', a powerful herbicide developed in collaboration with Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan.
Dhanuka Agritech Limited, a prominent name in the agrochemical industry, has launched a groundbreaking herbicide named 'Tizom', aimed at aiding farmers in controlling weeds in sugarcane cultivation, thus increasing farm profitability. Developed in collaboration with Nissan Chemical Corporation, Japan, 'Tizom' stands out for its unique composition and properties, promising to revolutionize weed management in sugarcane farming. The herbicide comprises two key active ingredients - Halosulfuron Methyl 6% + Metribuzin 50% WG - offering an effective solution for combatting narrow-leaf weeds, broadleaf weeds, and Cyperus rotundus, thereby significantly boosting sugarcane crop productivity.
Rahul Dhanuka, Joint Managing Director of Dhanuka Agritech Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “Tizom is a powerful addition to our existing sugarcane solutions, empowering farmers with an effective tool to tackle weeds and enhance their income. Benefits of 'Tizom' Herbicide
One of the distinguishing features of 'Tizom' is its precision in targeting and eliminating weeds while ensuring the safety of sugarcane crops. Moreover, the herbicide offers prolonged weed control, affording farmers a weed-free environment for an extended duration, thereby optimizing crop yield and profitability.

Y Fukagawa San, General Manager and Head of International Sales at Nissan Chemical Japan, highlighted the benefits of innovative crop solutions, drawing on his extensive experience in the field.
Amit Mishra, Senior Portfolio Manager for Herbicides at Dhanuka, shed light on the efficacy of 'Tizom', stating, “Tizom selectively eradicates unwanted plants without causing harm to the sugarcane itself, fostering healthier growth and leading to a bountiful harvest.” The herbicide is initially being rolled out for farmers in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, with plans for expansion to other states in the pipeline.
